Andreas Baumann is Partner at Oaklins Austria and Head of the M&A and Transaction Tax Practice. He advises national and international clients on complex cross-border M&A transactions and related tax structuring, as well as on international tax matters, corporate reorganisations, and private clients and family offices.

His practice focuses on the structuring of buy- and sell-side transactions, tax due diligence, and the negotiation of tax provisions in transaction documentation.

He is consistently recognised in leading international rankings, including Chambers, Legal 500, International Tax Review and Who’s Who Legal. He serves as a member of the Austrian Tax Advisor Examination Board and is a frequent speaker and author of internationally published articles and books.

Andreas Baumann holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Graz and has more than 25 years of experience advising on international transactions and complex tax matters.
